Tui Apartment near the Lake

Good apartment, but deceptive promotion Positive: Easy location to walk to the lake and town, space functioned well with plenty of supplies in the kitchen etc... The pool (warmed to around 26 degrees) was a welcome addition. Negative: When we booked, it was called "Modern apartment with stunning views near lake". This was changed well after we had booked and paid, and only 1 month before we came, to "Modern apartment near the lake". While the new name is valid, the name we used when we booked and paid was misleading. i.e., a view of the driveway is not a "stunning view" of anything in particular (especially given the illusion that the view was of the lake). While this did not materially diminish the accommodation, it was disappointing that this approach to attract bookings was used. Also, the keypad entry is challenging to use, i.e. very slow to respond & unclear why a lock box and keypad (the lockbox was not needed). Some chairs needed a good clean.

Positive: Location was fantastic for our needs - nicely appointed unit with everything we needed Negative: Front door look is very tricky to use - dinning chairs need to be deep cleaned

Lovely four nights stay. Positive: Close to town and the lake. Clean and homely.

A great place to stay in Taupo Positive: Great location . Apartment was spacious, well equiped and spotlessly clean.

Comfortable, nice stay. Served it’s purpose Positive: Convenient location, parking, Close to lake & close to town without being in town. Negative: Could have been cleaner, single beds very small.
