Terms and conditions - Short-Term Vacation Stay Rental Agreement

This Short-Term Vacation Stay Rental Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between the property owner or manager, hereinafter referred to as "Your Space," and the guest, hereinafter referred to as the "Guest." This Agreement is effective as of the reservation date.

1. Property Information relates to the property reserved or enquired about:

2. Rental Period:

The Guest is renting the property for the reserved period.

3. Rental Fee:

The total rental fee for the specified period includes cleaning and linen. Payment is due as follows:

50% deposit to secure the booking, remaining 50%, 24 hours before the check-in date.

4. Booking Confirmation:

Your Space will confirm the booking upon receipt of the initial payment. A confirmation email will be sent to the Guest with details of the reservation.

5. Cancellation Policy:

Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in.

6. Security Deposit:

Early check-in or late check-out may be accommodated upon request, subject to availability and an additional fee.

A security deposit of $500 is required to cover any damage to the property. This will be refunded within 3 days after check-out, less any deductions for damages. This is above and beyond the rental fee and must also be paid 7 days prior to arrival.

7. House Rules:

The Guest agrees to abide by the house rules provided by Your Space. Failure to comply may result in eviction without refund. These rules will be provided upon check in at the property.

8. Check-in and Check-out:

Early check-in or late check-out may be accommodated upon request, subject to availability and an additional fee.

9. Maintenance and Repairs:

The Guest agrees to promptly report any maintenance or repair issues to Your Space. Your Space will make reasonable efforts to address and resolve issues promptly.

10. Governing Law:

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising out of this Agreement shall be resolved in the courts of New Zealand.

11. Direct Bookings:

The Guest acknowledges that this booking is made directly with Your Space and not through third-party OTA's (Online Travel Agencies).

12. Miscellaneous:

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between Your Space and the Guest and supersedes any prior discussions or agreements, whether oral or written.

By confirming the reservation and providing a deposit, the Guest acknowledges and agrees to the terms and conditions of this Short-Term Vacation Stay Rental Agreement.

All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may access this from Your Space Taupō for your own personal use subjected to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.

You must not:

Republish material from Your Space Taupō.
Sell, rent or sub-license material from Your Space Taupō.
Reproduce, duplicate or copy material from Your Space Taupō.
Redistribute content from Your Space Taupō.

This Agreement shall begin on the date hereof.
