We love our stay at Harvey Positive: Everything you need is there ! Negative: Nothing

Best stay ever! Positive: OMG, this place was amazing! Had everything you could wish for... cosy, well equipped, stunning views, comfy beds, great kitchen. Couldn't ask for anything more. Negative: loved everything but if I had to be picky would say that you had to get in your car to go anywhere.

Positive: Spacey and comfortable.

miserable Positive: Its a lovely property, BUT! Negative: Its listed on Booking.com as "no pets", but it was so full of dog hair the stay was very uncomfortable for me. I have a mild allergy to dog hair. I contacted the manager at www.yourspacetaupo.co.nz on the evening of our arrival asking if we could get a refund and move. They offered no refund, but an alternative property some 35klm away and 25klm from town - not really an alternative. I was told it was strictly no pets, which was not true as their website says "Pets - Strictly no pets allowed unless pre-approved in writing. If pets are approved, please pick up all doggie poo before checking out to avoid a $50 fee." The property is falsely described/advertised. "No Pets" should mean no pets, not a place full of dog hair and smells. The property would need a thorough steam clean of all soft furnishing (sofas, curtains, beds, etc.) to make it fit for human habitation.
