Nice place for a rest stop in between activities. Positive: It was an amazing place to stay with a great view and out of the way from town traffic, my friends and I were really happy with it. If you're visiting and need a place to rest in between doing activities then I would definitely recommend it. The team was easy to communicate with and being on the edge of town makes it easy to just enjoy the view of lake Taupo. The only recommendation I would make if you plan on staying here is to either rent or bring your own car/motor vehicle. You're on the edge of town so it's good for enjoying scenery and not worrying about other people filling the area with traffic, noise or being around but it's a long walk to town (on the maps it's a couple hours) so having your own vehicle gives you a ton of freedom to go where you want, whenever you want. Negative: Nothing huge really stands out, it's a nice place full of all the essentials you need. The only thing I can think of as of writing this is having a small outdoor coffee table of something out the front balcony overlooking the lake so you can have a drink or something while outside. Also some barstools for the kitchen island, being able to sit at the island while someone is cooking is always a nice, easy way to communicate and feels more connected. Also, it may have just been me but the pillows were a bit uncomfortable to sleep on but you get used to it after a night, maybe having a softer option would be nice? Though I'm unsure how the logistics of these places work so it's not a deal breaker. Other than those points I can't think of anything major.

Wonderful experience! Positive: We had an absolutely wonderful Easter holiday staying at this house in Taupō from April 2nd to April 3rd. There were six of us (three couples), and the house was spacious and perfectly suited for our group. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped, with a wide range of utensils and seasonings that made cooking enjoyable and effortless—we were able to prepare some fantastic meals together. The living room was large, beautifully designed, and a great place to relax and spend time as a group. All the bedrooms were clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The surrounding scenery was stunning, and the area was peaceful and quiet at night, which made for a very restful stay. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway!
