Exactly what we needed! Positive: A great little villa in the heart Taupo, central to everything we wanted to see and do during our four day stay. The villa had all the essentials and was beautifully decorated. A great balance of being both secure and private while maintaining a cosy feel. Negative: The road was a bit busy at times getting in and out of the property, but manageable.

Small, but clean and comfortable property, noise from neighbours can be an issue. Positive: Wanderlust was great for our 2 night stopover as part of our 4 week exploration of North Island. The property was clean and comfortable and it was great to be able to use the washing machine and dryer. Perfect location for a quick car trip to Taupo where there were many restaurants and cafes to choose from. Negative: Unfortunately the last night of our stay(a Friday evening) the noise from the property behind us was loud and unacceptable and went on till 2:00am, and as the bedroom looks out on to this property this made sleeping impossible. Having looked back at previous reviews on different booking sites it appears that this unfortunately is not an unusual complaint.
