Bellbird Cottage

Positive: We love the place very cozy, close to everything, and it is fully equiped with the things we need. Except no rice cooker but kidding aside, overall it is value for money.

We would happily recommend Bellbird cottage. Positive: Central location for all of Taupos attractions. Bellbird cottage is private and in a quiet suburb with good views down to lake and mountains. Well placed for morning and afternoon sun in kitchen and living area with good decks to relax outside. Separated bedrooms ideal for our 3 generation family. We had a most enjoyable stay and our grandson greatly enjoyed bringing us morning coffee by the bifold window. Negative: Electric blankets or hot water bottles for single beds

Positive: The house is exactly like the photos. Great location towards the top of a hill, nice view of the lake and snow capped mountains in the background on a clear day. Plenty of cooking equipment, plates, glasses etc. Washing machine and dryer with washing liquid/powder provided. We had a car, only a 5 minute drive to shops and restaurants. Nice walk down to the lake, you will definitely burn off any calories you eat while down there on the way back up the hill! Highly recommended.
