Tobin Cottage

The property is in a great location, close to the jetty, shops, and food options, and the booking managers were easy to Positive: Good location. Close to the jetty or shops, fish n chips etc. Good booking options. Smart TV and Xbox did us well on rainy days! Booking managers were easy to deal with. Negative: Upstairs bedroom was impossible to navigate around which wasn’t ideal but not much you can do about that. Windows didn’t seal properly and some closers were even broken so there was a constant wind draft in some rooms. Front door didnt close properly many times without locking. I was told a hose was provided at the house to clean my jetski yet I found a hose cut up into about 5 different pieces in the backyard with the tap attachments broken on the hose which made it unusable. No dishwasher wasn’t ideal as it said in the facilities there was a dishwasher though the property informed me after booking. Not much area to put rubbish nor was I given specific instructions leaving us to result to use many rubbish bags, the one bin provided in the house was about the size of a shoebox.

Positive: The house is a very cute cottage and perfect for what we required. Great location - walking distance to the lake, sailing club and supermarket.

Nice Negative: Written dishwasher but no dishwasher

Positive: House was beautifully decorated and a short walking distance to the lake. Negative: Some spaces are a tight squeeze (toilet in particular) so a larger person might struggle to be comfortable.

We had a very enjoyable stay. Thank you. Positive: Location was as expected. The garden for use of the dogs was excellent. The house was clean, beds nicely made up with towels and ample pillows. Lounge was comfortable and kitchen adequately supplied. Negative: Wi Fi not working and a plug in the kitchen gave up. It would have been nice to have a bedside lamp in the second bedroom.
