Cool place that exceeded expectations.
Positive: Great place, central and close to lake and town, cute and funky inside, warm, bigger spaces than expected, lovely kitchen and great laundry, excellent bedding.
Negative: The stairs to the upstairs where the bedrooms and bathrooms are require care, especially for older people or children.

Positive: We love the space and facilities offered. The kitchen was very well equipped, washing facilities were great, rooms can be warm on a hot day but otherwise comfortable. It would be perfect if it has a lake front but we wanted a quieter location which it is.
Negative: Bedrooms can be warm on hot days.

Negative: As an old house, it can be a bit worn out but, anyway, it's a good option to stay in Taupo.
