Beatus House

Nice enough house in a good location but definitely not as advertised. Positive: Location was great. Kitchen had all we needed to enjoy preparing meals at home. House was retro and clean. Hosts/Agents were lovely and prompt with all communications. Negative: First of all it is advertised as a three bedroom property but there ARE ONLY TWO BEDROOMS, one has two beds and in the other master room a king bed. Secondly, the two bathrooms are very old and the showers barely work especially if you have both of them being used at once. (Only made this mistake once!). The stairs are very rustic which you expect from an older cottage. However walking around the top floor, the loud creaking of the floors woke everybody up overnight (especially when trying to go to bathroom). Yes, the upstairs rooms were hot of an afternoon, however, the air conditioners worked really well to cool them quickly. Unfortunately, even though there were many pillows on the beds, they are so soft you can’t sleep on them and there were no spare additional blankets which would have been nice for the chilly nights.

Cool place that exceeded expectations. Positive: Great place, central and close to lake and town, cute and funky inside, warm, bigger spaces than expected, lovely kitchen and great laundry, excellent bedding. Negative: The stairs to the upstairs where the bedrooms and bathrooms are require care, especially for older people or children.

Positive: We love the space and facilities offered. The kitchen was very well equipped, washing facilities were great, rooms can be warm on a hot day but otherwise comfortable. It would be perfect if it has a lake front but we wanted a quieter location which it is. Negative: Bedrooms can be warm on hot days.

Beside those two 👆we are happy to stay next time 🥰 Positive: Everything Negative: No air conditioner is not good in Summer small mosquitoes came indoor when we need to open all door for fresh air

Positive: Le confort général et les lits Negative: Les douches un peu vieillotes. L'escalier et l'étage qui grincent.
